Technology Overview of a Compute GRID

Compute Grids are defined as any distributed cluster of computing resources
that provides an environment for sharing, managing, and distribution of
non-batch tasks based on configurable service level policies. Compute Grids
are based either on vendor products such as DataSynapse's LiveCluster,
Platform Computing's Symphony, or are implemented from the Globus reference
toolkit.

Typically deployed for applications which can lend themselves to
parallelism, newer Compute Grids also address problems requiring cooperation
and correlation between tasks.

Integrasoft provides key architectural, implementation, and deployment
expertise for Compute Grids for pharmaceutical and Financial Applications.
